Yellow Brick has been building satellite tracking devices for some time and has gained a solid reputation in specialised fields such as Yacht Race tracking. The latest version of its tracking devices now features two way communication and a flexible range of options to support tracking and messaging. Yellowbrick uses Iridium satellites. Yellowbrick do not, at this time, support the SEND standard, RTCM 12800. The Yellowbrick 3 is shipping, the companion Android Messenger App has been released, as well as an iOS App.

Gianluca: I was somewhat underwhelmed when I tested the Android App a few weeks ago. I very much admire YB’s tracking features, but their messaging functionality seemed like a poor cousin.
